DEF Color VS SI Clarity Rough Lab Grown Diamonds Created By High Pressure And High Temperature Technology
Rough Lab Grown Diamonds Description
Laboratory diamonds, known as synthetic diamonds. The lab grown diamonds is the product of the development of high technology.
Artificial diamonds is more environmentally friendly and saves labor costs. The biggest cost is production costs. The natural diamond and the synthetic diamond are all the same. Hardness, crystal, refractive index and so on are exactly the same.
The main difference between them is the formation condition. One is dug underground, and the other is produced by lab grown diamond machines.
Making lab-grown diamonds in the laboratory is more sustainable. The growth of laboratory rough diamonds can take a week or more depending on the size and method. Scientists use common elements to make lab-grown diamonds.
At present, there are two methods of artificial cultivation of diamonds in the world: high temperature and high pressure method and Chemical Vapor Deposition method. HPHT way is to use graphite on a huge machine, which smashes diamonds with extremely high pressure and high temperatures, just like when the earth formed natural diamonds. The high pressure high temperature (HPHT) process turns graphite into diamond. In the CVD method, scientists put diamond "seed crystals" into a chamber filled with ordinary gas. When the gas is heated, they begin to form a carbon layer on the seed crystals, allowing them to grow and eventually form lab-grown diamonds.

Rough Lab Grown Diamonds Introduction
Natural diamonds are created by nature and are the result of high temperature and pressure formed over billions of years. The Lab Grown Diamonds are produced in the laboratory, usually in a few weeks. The chemical difference between the two is same.
So how do you distinguish between Lab Grown Diamonds and natural diamonds?
There is no obvious difference between the Lab Grown Diamonds and natural diamonds. Even professional gemologists need special equipment to identify them. Professionals will be able to discern subtle contrasts in diamond inclusions grown and mined in the laboratory.
